AN ITALIAN STORY OF ELEGANCE AND VISION

1911. THE BEGINNING OF A JOURNEY.

It all began in Bergamo in 1911, with an artisanal leather glove workshop founded by Dante Trussardi.

From the very beginning, quality, technical mastery, and refined taste defined the brand’s identity, which soon achieved international recognition.
Leather, a noble and living material, became the language through which Trussardi began to express a sober and authentic style meant to endure.

In the 1970s, leadership passed to Nicola Trussardi, who initiated a decisive transformation: turning the glove workshop into a true Maison, expanding the offer to include bags, scarves, and accessories, and opening the first boutique on Via Sant’Andrea in Milan.

In 1975, he introduced the greyhound, still the symbol of the brand today: elegant, fast, and determined.

A reimagined heraldic emblem that reflects the idea of evolving with grace and consistency.
With the launch of men’s and women’s prêt-à-porter collections, leather remained the protagonist,
reinterpreted into a sophisticated yet accessible wardrobe. Trussardi began to shape a new vision of Italian elegance.

THE 80’s AND 90’s. A LIFESTYLE TAKES SHAPE

The brand expanded and became a pioneer of the Italian lifestyle.

Fashion shows were staged in iconic cultural venues across the city: Piazza Duomo, Central Station, the Piccolo Teatro, initiating a dialogue between fashion and contemporary life.

Trussardi also engaged in bold collaborations with Alitalia, Lancia, Alfa Romeo, and Augusta Elicotteri, and opened Palatrussardi:
one of the first venues in Europe where fashion, music, and entertainment came together.

Trussardi Jeans was born, a denim line that brought a wider audience closer to the brand without compromising on style and quality.

A NEW GENERATION.
NEW PERSPECTIVES.

By the late 1990s, a new phase began.

The brand embraced experimentation, artistic collaborations, and cultural initiatives.

New spaces like the Trussardi Café were created, along with capsule collections that engaged with the present while staying true to the Maison’s heritage.

The brand’s DNA continued to evolve without losing its coherence, narrating an elegance that grows over time rather than chasing trends.

TODAY. AN ELEGANCE THAT LOOKS TO THE FUTURE.

In 2024, with the entry into the Miroglio Group, Trussardi began a new chapter.

The project is now guided by a team of creatives, professionals, and diverse perspectives, united by a shared vision: to build an inclusive, conscious, and open brand.

A collective that believes in the power of the Gentle Society and the value of human relationships as the foundation of a new idea of luxury.

A progressive luxury that doesn’t need to raise its voice to be seen.

A style that speaks of care, materiality, and culture, one that draws from over a century of history and transforms it into essential, deeply human design.
Because Trussardi is not just fashion: it is a vision of the world, made of freedom, beauty, and kindness.
